
Bernard Kradjian
Founder & Executive Director
Bernard Kradjian is a communications professional and writer whose work centres on preserving the memory of the Armenian Genocide through modern public engagement, digital strategy, and cultural storytelling. As the Executive Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum of Canada (AGMC), he leads the organization’s mission to combat Armenophobia, promote historical justice, and ensure the experiences of Armenian Genocide survivors are meaningfully remembered by future generations.
With over 15 years of experience in media, content strategy, and digital communications, Kradjian brings a multifaceted skillset to AGMC’s evolving platform. His background includes strategic branding, website development, multimedia storytelling, and public engagement through digital channels. He has overseen the production of educational content, video campaigns, newsletters, and community reports, and has consistently implemented strategies that amplify historical awareness and mobilize support around key cultural issues.
In addition to his leadership at AGMC, Kradjian is a dedicated writer and advocate for Armenian cultural memory. He authored the film script The Vision of Gomidas, honored by the Armenian Dramatic Arts Alliance, and is currently working on a novel titled Ungodly, which reimagines the life of Komitas and the enduring trauma of the Armenian Genocide. His creative work explores the intersection of memory, identity, and loss—offering new ways to connect contemporary audiences with the Armenian experience.
Kradjian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and brings both technical expertise and a deep personal commitment to his role at AGMC. His approach bridges historical preservation with forward-thinking outreach, ensuring that the Armenian Genocide is not only remembered but also understood within a broader conversation on justice and resilience.
